My Deadwood story is that I moved some years ago about a thousand miles to the east coast. Every year I make the trip back home to visit family and I prefer to drive because I don't love flying. Anyway, before I hit the road I always pack the phone up with entertainment. I don't watch videos while driving, just to be clear, but I will listen to them. So I've got HBO open and I'm listening to Deadwood, happy as a clam. It's a hot summer day so I've got the windows down to catch the breeze and I'm stopped at a light. The show gets to a scene where a white racist is talking to the black stable owner and it's N word this and N word that at cranked out at the full volume I had it at while driving on the freeway to overcome the interference of the wind. And you have to understand, as a fan of the show I know the white racist character is meant to be satirical, he's a giant idiot you're meant to laugh at because he's a giant idiot. So I'm smiling at his buffooneries when I look over and there is a car full of people in the lane next to me at the light in open-mouthed disbelief. I kind of wanted to explain, but the light changed and I held back a little to let them get well ahead of me.

Thanks for this Brian i really miss Corey Haim, i wish he could have stayed away from drugs, it took such a toll on him and probably didn't allow him to fight off the pneumonia that took his life.
